CLERK TO THE COUNCIL & RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER

GRADE LC2 (24 - 28) 30 hours per month - £15.16 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to take the reins of Clerk and RFO. We are a vibrant and diverse community within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty consisting of 7 village wards and 14 councillors. The position requires an individual with excellent IT skills, experience in administration and financial management, plus an ability to work within local government law and procedures. There will be opportunities to pursue ongoing training.

You will be home based and the hours of working are flexible, but will involve attendance at monthly evening meetings and other occasional events. Office equipment and consumables will be provided by the Council and a home working allowance of £26.00 per month will be paid, but you will be required to provide a safe and secure working environment. You are expected to have your own transport and a full driving licence.
