Quiz Night Brilliant Success!

Last night’s Pelham Hall Quiz attracted some 40 residents, spread between a dozen or so teams.

Quizmaster, and sometime pantomime dame, Geraint Thomas kept the quizzers in good order throughout, despite battling against the vagaries of the bar’s roving mike.

Rounds on GK, Film, Sport, Music and TV meant that there was something for everyone, whilst specialist knowledge about who Trent Reznor is and what was Bradman’s final Test batting average also had a place*

A clear winning team emerged at the final count and “Near the War Memorial” went home a couple of bottles of Prosecco the better.
