Are you available on Tuesday evenings for a relaxed and enjoyable time?

Pelham Hall Bowls Club are looking for new members of all ages, young and less so. All are welcome.

Our Club is predominantly a social club: we play for fun only and do not play in any league. That’s not to say we don’t have some competitive members !

The Club meets every Tuesday evening at Pelham Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, with a break at half time for a tea or coffee and a natter. We like to get started at 7.30pm so a 7.15pm arrival is appreciated.

The first session is free for newcomers - so come along and have a go and see if it is for you. We have spare sets of woods to get you started, all you need to get going is two hours of your time each week.

Fees are £3 per session attended, which provides a contribution to Club costs and charges for Club use of the hall. Tea or coffee is 50p.

The Club often enjoys meals out together, which you can join in with if you so wish and arranges occasional Club outings. For example, we have recently enjoyed a Steam Train trip from Cheltenham Racecourse to Broadway in the Cotswolds together with a pub lunch followed by the return train journey.

Later this month we have a boat trip on the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal together with a pub lunch booked at the Coach and Horses Inn at Llangynidr near Crickhowell. We have a special Christmas meal together every year as well.
