Recreation at Babington Meadow
Babington Meadow can be found in the centre of the village adjacent to the Old School House. The Meadow was designed as a village park suitable for all ages and making a positive ecological contribution to the village.
The Meadow offers playground furniture for a variety of ages, basket ball hoop, a ball games wall, and more recently a Zip Wire. It is a wonderful location to stop and have a picnic, cook up a Bar-B-Que or just sit and enjoy some quiet time in the middle of local walk.

Open-air theatre performances have taken place over the years and always provide a high quality of entertainment even if the audience need to wrap up warm on some occasions.
One of the exhibition spaces at a recent “Art in Penallt” event, just one of the many uses the Meadows supports.
Planted with wildflowers and several trees the Meadows makes a great place to sit and watch the local wildlife. Benches and picnic tables are part of the furniture so why not come and spend a few minutes in our village oasis.
