Record numbers at Art in Penallt!

Our 10th Art in Penallt took place over the bank holiday weekend with about 1000 visitors attending, a record number. Art sales topped £18,000 so once expenses have been paid, artists have received their share of the sales and enough money has been kept back to run another one, we will be able to make generous donations to our charities - Wales Air Ambulance & Monmouth & District Food Bank.

We would like to thank all our volunteer stewards, most of whom live in the village, who did a brilliant job of managing traffic and greeting visitors. Many of you have helped us in previous years and we really appreciate your willingness and cheerfulness.

We are grateful to the team at Humble by Nature - Rachael, Tim & Sarah - and at the Pig and Apple - Jake & Jess - for their help, to St John Ambulance for their attendance and to Pelham Hall for lending tables & chairs and the card terminal.

We hope you were able to visit and have enjoyed Art in Penallt once again.
