Pumpkin Carving 2024
Halloween 2024 coincided with the usual Thursday village evening with Ben’s Fish and Chips and the regular bar opening enhanced to suit the occasion.
Many villagers had responded to the invitation and produced a great turnout of about 25 beautifully carved pumpkins and several interesting fancy dress costumes.
Jane Palmer and Julie Richards were joint winners in the adult carving. Julie can be seen holding her winning entry below along with the winning pumpkin and fancy dress in the junior section.
